Pathfinder is an extracurricular program for incoming first and second-year Northeastern students. We provide a safe and inclusive space for students to discuss and pursue their passions!
Pathfinder is an extracurricular program for incoming Northeastern freshmen that aims to give students the tools and confidence to pursue their passion while learning from the best: their peers. The key aspect of the program is developing a truly interdisciplinary community by joining students across all colleges with upperclassmen and young alumni. We aim to empower students to have the confidence to take action after their time with Pathfinder.

It can be challenging to explore your passions while balancing academic and career goals. Pathfinder provides the following resources for incoming first and second-year students to help jumpstart an entrepreneurial spirit.
We host weekly roundtable discussions to provide a safe and inclusive space for new students to share with their peers and upper-classmen moderators. Students are guided through weekly prompts and are encouraged to choose a new skill to build during the semester and report on any progress.
Weekly workshops are put on by Mosaic organizations and offices around campus on topics ranging from pitching yourself to prototyping. These workshops aim to provide foundational information on entrepreneurial skills and connect students with their peer leaders. Every workshop is recorded and is available on-demand through our Podcast and YouTube channel. Scroll down to view our latest one!
Students are encouraged to build a skill or create a project using what they have learned from the program and share with Northeastern’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.

FIRST AND SECOND YEAR STUDENTS
Pathfinder is an extracurricular program for Northeastern's first and second-year students. Joining Pathfinder gives students access to roundtable groups, live virtual workshops, and a supportive community of fellow thinkers. Apply today and jumpstart your personal and academic growth!
UPPERCLASSMAN & ALUMNI
Roundtable groups are moderated by upperclassmen or recent alumni. Moderators help facilitate and guide conversations to create a safe environment for students to learn from each other. These Roundtable groups aim to connect first and second-year students to mentors who have been through the college process and can provide valuable insights. Being a moderator will provide you with the experience to pass on your skills and help mentor the next generation of entrepreneurial thinkers and stay connected to the Mosaic and Northeastern community.
Pathfinder workshops are hosted weekly by student organizations and offices within the university. If your organization interested in hosting a workshop to share knowledge, passions, and entrepreneurial enthusiasm with underclassmen, send us an email at email@example.com
